Prince is a popular American singer, songwriter and actor. He was born to the name of Prince Rogers Nelson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He came from a family that was fond of music. His father, John L. His parents’ influence played a great role in his early love for music, making him one of the most talented and sought after musicians known today.

He first wrote a song at a very young age of seven. Although he tried sending out demo after demo, his first real break was in 1978 when he launched his debut album named For You. He received a reasonable number of sales. A year later, his second album called simply Prince finally made him internationally acclaimed. His songs Why Do You Wanna Treat Me So Bad and I Wanna Be With Your Lover became a platinum hit all over the world. His succeeding albums – Dirty Mind, which was released in 1980, Controversy in 1981, and 1999 in 1982 continued his fame and success.

His songs, which are a fusion of punk, jazz and pop rock, thickly laced with sexual energy, became his trademark. On top of his musical talent, he is also a talent promoter.
